2019 Genesis G70 Revealed

On March 28th, 2018, at the New York International Auto Show, Genesis revealed their 2019 G70! This is a luxury performance sedan, bound to be a tough competitor in its segment. This car joins other Genesis sedans like the G80, G80 Sport and G90. Places that the G70 have been tested include California, Sweden and Germany. The G70 will get to dealerships in Summer 2018. Powering the G70

One of the available engines is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder that produces 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The other engine is a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 manufacturing 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is optional, making rear-wheel drive standard. With either engine you may get an eight-speed sport-tuned automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. However, with the 2.0T RWD model you may get a six-speed manual gearbox. Every G70 has a launch control system.

Safety Equipment

There are tons of available safety features for the 2019 Genesis G70! Advanced driver-assistance systems include Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, and Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection. There is also Driver Attention Warning, and that plus the other safety features named above comprise the Genesis Active Safety Control suite. As of this writing, Genesis predicts that this vehicle will, from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, receive the best possible crash test scores.

Eight exterior colors--Casablanca White, Victoria Black, Santiago Silver, Himalayan Grey, Mallorca Blue, Adriatic Blue, Siberian Ice and Havana Red--are available for the 2019 Genesis G70. You may combine an Amazon Alexa-enabled device and Genesis Connected Services to access remote voice control. This may perform tasks that include Remote Door Lock/Unlock, and Remote Start with your ideal interior temperature. There are many ways to access Genesis Connected Services. Some ways include through controls on the rearview mirror, the vehicle's center stack and via the smartphone app. The car has a 111.6-inch wheelbase, and an overall length of 184.5 inches.

There are high-quality materials like premium soft-touch surfaces, quilted Nappa leather seats, genuine brushed aluminum surfaces and stainless-steel speaker grilles. You can purchase the car with a 15-speaker high-fidelity audio system, featuring QuantumLogic surround-processing technology to create a rich listening experience. The car has distinctive LED daytime-running lights and the Genesis Crest Grille. The car has a sleek profile because of its long hood and short overhangs, high beltline and dynamic roofline.
